Front Office Supervisor
Columbus, OH

The supervisor oversees the front desk staff and is also responsible for the billing functions for the practice. This role is a leader and role model for the staff, and the ideal candidate is versatile, flexible, and excited to wear many hats.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2+ years working the front desk/office in a medical setting.

2+ years’ experience with billing & medical coding.
Experience in ophthalmology preferred.
Experience with EMR/EHR preferred.

Natural leader with high energy and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Able to problem-solve effectively and efficiently.
Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
High-level customer service and phone skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a caring, patient, and friendly attitude.
Acute attention to details.
Enjoy working in a team-based environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Overseeing and leading the front office staff (check in and check out).
Billing functions.
Leading by example to provide an excellent patient experience.
When needed, performing front desk responsibilities such as answering calls, checking in patients, entering information, preparing invoices, etc.
