Lone Star Overnight (LSO) is now hiring a full-time Pickup and Delivery (P&D) Manager! M-F 5AM-2PM (Shifts may vary)

LSO is a $100M+ parcel network delivery company experiencing significant growth with both e-commerce and B2B customers. We are seeking customer service-oriented candidates who work well under pressure and can complete tasks in a safe and orderly fashion.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee the dispatch and on-road activity of service providers to ensure that customer commitments are met.
• Provide training for contractors regarding on-road resources in pick-up and delivery practices.
• Responsible for training contractors our customer's requirements and expectations regarding our delivery services.
• Drive data capture practices to make sure all package transactions are captured correctly and communicated to the customer in a timely fashion.
• Assist in achieving pickup and delivery standards for productivity, quality and cost.
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed.
• Confirm all contractors meet/maintain compliance requirements in order to provide delivery services for LSO.
• Ensure that LSO image and branding standards are maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS University degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management is preferred, but not required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Logistics, or Distribution. Experience in an environment where contract drivers operate is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor with contractors and station personnel in person and on the telephone.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
