Physical Therapist Assistant who loves to make Patients Smile!
Ethos Health Group - Sarasota, FL

Ethos Health Group is looking for a particular type of physical therapist assistant to add to our facility in Sarasota, FL 4 days a week.

We like to refer to ourselves as a "boutique physical therapy" facility as we specialize in the non-surgical treatment of knee pain, peripheral neuropathy (we have some fantastic clinical protocols that change lives), Traumatic Brain Injury, and spine patients. The focused nature of our treatment also means documentation is much more streamlined, so our therapists are not burning the midnight oil to stay caught up with charts!

All therapy is done one on one, and our therapists see no more than 12 patients per day, although our goal is to limit them to 10 to allow plenty of documentation time. We are okay with new grads or seasoned veterans, as we will train you in everything you'll need to excel in this position.

Our population is primarily geriatric, so a warm, friendly attitude and patience with aging patients in a must. However, don't think this is a bunch of stodgy older adults who are just waiting to die! The number one goal of our practice is to determine the "life effect" that we can help our patients achieve.

What does "life effect" mean? You see, patients say they are coming to us for knee pain, or neuropathy, or a sore back...but that's not really why they're here.

• They want to walk down the aisle at their granddaughter's wedding next year without a cane.
• Or they miss taking walks around the neighborhood with their spouse and catching up on the day's events.
• Or perhaps they have the trip of a lifetime coming up and are worried they'll be sitting on a bus the whole time for fear of falling while out sightseeing.

That is what life effect means, and if that is the kind of thing that makes you excited to get up to go to work in the morning and change lives....then we should talk!

She was blessed with an amazing husband who was committed to taking her to treatment several times a week and helping her every step of the way. He shared with us that her "life effect" was to be able to dance with him again, as that was a passion they had shared for years.

After completing a course of care with our office, it gives me goosebumps to tell you that my staff was in tears sharing with me how this lovely couple was able to enjoy their first dance together in years!
