Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a highly motivated Functional Lead to join our team. The candidate will oversee all business processes to ensure conformance and alignment to our clients’ mission / goals. The Functional Lead will act as SME for Human Capital Management and work closely with all project teams building and maintaining cloud-based systems and products.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillsets, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGS’ capabilities.

As a Functional Lead you will:

  • Customize products/services or modules to meet client mission / objectives by understanding the Client's internal business needs, and make necessary recommendations and provide solutions to meet these needs
  • Capture the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance
  • Provide business process re-engineering recommendations required to achieve a successful conversion
  • Design and deliver client-defined systems and processes along with tools and/or databases
  • Undertake special projects related to Cloud Platform migration/implementation
  • Consult and collaborate with the Client to develop customized training to meet Client needs
  • Recommend product and service changes to further business development and optimize client satisfaction
  • Assist Human Capital Management team with backend work (migration pre-work, carrier connection validation/structure gathering, client data compares, benefit plan analysis/build)
  • Actively partner with the divisions and client business partners, understand their needs and challenges, and come up with solutions and approach to learning and development
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise on team development & leadership capabilities that are delivered through our primary advisor engagement & training venues (Compass/learning paths, webinars, field leader coaching, dedicated coaching programs)

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship Required or Lawful Permanent Resident
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, psychology, human resources, or related field
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance
  • 10+ years of experience in leading system implementations.
  • At least one to five years of experience and understanding in Human Capital domain
  • Have experience in Cloud Platform migration/implementation
  • Experience with Agile System Development methodologies
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and organized
  • Ability to negotiate with and influence senior team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and display a high level of adaptability/flexibility while handling job responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, think outside the box/about the big picture and goal-driven (do-er)
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum and Agile techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement, Technical Debt, PI Planning)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of assessment tools including validation processes, and legal and ethical use of instruments for development, selection, and other talent management decisions
  • Analytical skills - Ability to problem solving and problem analysis
  • Human Capital related certifications such as HR, PHR, GPHR, SPHR, PMI, OES, BCP, SOX, ITIL will be a plus, but not a requirement
  • PMP & SAFe certifications are a plus, but not a requirement

Pay Transparency:

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $120k to $155K.

This role may be eligible for other compensation, including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
