JOB SUMMARY:

Supervise assigned table games, placing emphasis on security of Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel assets, player satisfaction and the effective motivation of subordinates. Responsible for monitoring and supervising the daily table game operation, ensuring that courteous and prompt service is provided by all employees. This includes focusing on guest interaction, business development and maintenance of a fun and exciting atmosphere. Accepts responsibility for guest satisfaction ratings; interacts with guests, department members and cross property employees. Keep the Assistant Casino Manager – Tables informed of all pertinent information and assume the duties of the Assistant Casino Manager - Tables in his/her absence.

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Establish and endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values

Ø Ensure all table games employees on their shift are providing optimum service to all guest

Ø Ensure technical proficiency of all table games employees through guidance and effective training programs

Ø Observe and analyze the integrity of play and activity of guests and employee activity

Ø Assist the Assistant Casino Manager – Tables in making comp decisions

Ø Assist the management of the operation of all table games

Ø Ensure all table games employees on their shift are providing optimum service to all guest

Ø Maintain knowledge of current cheating techniques, and shares knowledge through training

Ø Exercise good judgment in issuing complimentaries to qualified guests

Ø Maximize the profitability of the table game operations through proper adjustment of staffing, table limits and other variable expenses

Ø Trainsubordinates, providing each with the knowledge, development and appropriate direction to perform his/her responsibilities

Ø Exhibit sound decision-making with emphasis on motivating team and maintaining high morale

Ø Ensure that Supervisors and Dealers have the necessary information and resources

Ø Build relationships and maintain rapport with casino players and employees

Ø Handle customer disputes with strong emphasis on achieving customer satisfaction

Ø Implement the federal Currency Transaction Reporting Guidelines

Ø Provide continuous positive coaching for development of employees and appropriate corrective action when necessary

Ø Ensure timely and accurate performance appraisals and accurate work history entries

Ø Represent Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River at guest functions and builds rapport with premium players

Ø Knowledge of and responsibility for all investigations and research required for variance, income control, surveillance and all other procedures as outlined in the Internal Control procedures

Ø Ensure that the casino operates with the parameters of the Internal Control Regulations, Harrah’s Cherokee strategic plan, and all internal policies and procedures

Ø Encourage Caesars Reward Card participation and sign up guest whenever possible

Ø Aware of current promotional programs and new gaming devices

Ø Seek opportunities to provide excellent service to players and employees

Ø Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees

Ø Responsible for, or actively participates in, the initiation of personnel actions including but not limited to: interviews, training, candidate selection, terminations, performance reviews, promotions, transfers and disciplinary actions

Ø Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ø High school diploma or GED required

Ø BSBA degree from an accredited educational institution preferred

Ø Two years’ experience as a Table Games Supervisor required

Ø Knowledge of all major games (Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Baccarat) required

Ø Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:

Ø Must be able to analyze computer generated reports on various table games products

Ø Documented supervisory and leadership skills

Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ø Extensive knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and Internal Control Procedures

Ø Strong interpersonal skills (including in volatile situations)

Ø Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene

Ø Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Ø Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Ø Basic gaming device knowledge

Ø Knowledge of SDS, CMS, and Caesars Reward systems

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Ø Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino

Ø Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items

Ø Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues

Ø Must be able to read, write speak and understand English

Ø Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and carry 5 pounds

Ø Must be able to work up to 60 hours per week, if business demands require

Ø Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations

Ø Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations

Ø Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, computer, fax machine and photo copier

Ø Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including second hand smoke

Ø Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
