Job description

Responsible for ensuring maximum guest service and satisfaction through the organization and supervision of assigned area according to policies and procedures and gaming regulations.

  • Enforces performance standards, policies and procedures relating to all table games and slot machines, ensuring compliance with the Gaming Commission regulations.
  • Checks bankroll from previous shift to ensure accuracy; assists Gaming Assistant Manager in physical count of bankroll at shift change.
  • Observes game, players, and dealers, to ensure accuracy of the game and game protection.
  • Ensures that all games move at an appropriate pace.
  • Communicates with shift manager of any guest and/or employee problems.
  • Organizes the assigned shift and area including, daily employee assignments, employee break schedules and staffing levels.
  • Verifies slot and table games pay outs (jackpots, fills, etc.) and booth buying/selling, maintains security of monies within the department.
  • Strives to meet revenue goals by ensuring all slot machines are in working order. Notifies slot maintenance of repair.
  • Supervises count in/count out of change banks and booths when variances occur; records and tracks variances, and check voids.
  • Promotes positive guests relations providing a good gaming experience by answering questions, resolving disputes, locating beverage servers, service recoveries, etc.
  • Assists in training and evaluating of subordinate employees in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Encourages rated play and tracks players, noting buy-ins, length of play, win/loss and average bet.
  • Maintains current knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Understands pit accounting procedures and administrative tasks, i.e., fills, credits, marker transactions and responsibilities.
  • Promotes all departmental and property-wide promotions.

High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in either slots or table games supervision.


Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications required. Strong organizational and communication skills required.

This position requires a Gaming License.
