General Accountant


Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, on site required

Job Responsibilities:


Primary Functions are Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for manufacturing operations at the US facility.


The finance area has moved to all electronic AP/AR – knowledge of .pdf editing/combining/deleting pages is required.


AP – Process all supplier invoices for US facility. This is end to end processing. Save all incoming invoices, ERP match to receiving and process payment within terms (ACH/Check). Must be able to problem solve any price/quantity discrepancies as needed with team members and supplier. Approx. 125 invoices per week


AR – Process all customer invoices for US facility. Invoices are automated and require the staff member to capture the daily invoices and submit in accordance with the customer requirements. This could be email or onto a portal. Process incoming customer cash payments from ACH incoming or paper check from mail. Must be able to problem solve any short payments, discounts, and customer questions. Collections is handled weekly, usually takes about 5-6 hours depending on the week.


Other secondary duties include: Daily Sales Incentive Dashboards and ad hoc reporting as necessary. There are opportunities for financial analysis once the candidate has mastered all other duties.


This position is in the front office and will be helping to answer the main phone line, get mail, and greet guests that visit the facility. These duties are not assigned to one person, as all front office staff are expected to help.

Qualifications:


  • ERP system experience is a plus (we use Epicor globally)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills – especially Excel
  • Adobe editing knowledge a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communications (accurate and reliable)
  • Excellent analytical skills, with clear and concise output
  • Ability to function in a busy office environment
