International Paper, a world leader in industrial packaging, is currently seeking candidates for the position of General Help at its Mt. Carmel, PA Container Plant.

Candidates must be willing to work a five day work week, as well as occasional daily and weekend overtime. This is a 3 shift operation – openings are for 2nd or 3rd shift.

Prior to initiating employment, all candidates considered for employment will be required to participate in an extensive testing process, structured panel interview, background check, physical and drug testing.

Compensation includes a starting wage of $18.04 -$22.18. We also offer an excellent benefits package that includes, medical, dental, life insurance, pension plan and a 401(k) plan. This is a great opportunity to start a career with a dynamic and proven manufacturer in the packaging industry.

Specific responsibilities include running machines, reading factory orders, basic data-entry skills on a computer, accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other test equipment, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, counting and stacking product, accurately completing quality and administrative documents, following directions, monitoring and moving stock through the production area, and other duties as needed. Physical abilities require moving up to 50 lbs, pushing stacks of corrugated sheets and standing for 8 hours. Overtime hours required.
