General Labor - $16.50 hr starting pay rotating/flexible schedule plus shift differential

Overview: Eagle Foods is a leading producer and marketer of canned sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk products. We also have branched into deliciously awesome retail snack foods. Process General Laborer is responsible for operating cut open machinery, maintaining the work area in clean condition and helping with staging materials and sanitation activities.
Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor all product in process and/or finished to be packed to ensure best quality standards are being met
• Make sure all materials are properly counted, weighed, and labeled with correct label information
• Ensure that all partial pallets, bags, containers, etc. are available and accessible as well as having proper documentation such as part number, weights, and expiration dates.
• Report to process manager equipment malfunctions, to be reported to maintenance.
• Ensure that all raw materials are correct, logged, and meet all the customer and Company specifications.
• Complete and document daily GMP’s.
• Maintain count of items produced and document appropriately.
• Ensure adequate housekeeping throughout the day.

Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience with Food Safety Audit expectations and requirements preferred

Physical Demands: *
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to communicate effectively, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift up to 50lbs, ability to adjust vision for close vision work. Occasional exposure to airborne dust, high humidity and extreme heat are possible in the plant.
