General Laborer Reports to: Cooler Manager or Plant Manager

Oberweis Dairy is seeking a general laborer to work out of our Corporate office. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include working on weekends and occasional overtime. You will be an active participant in our warehouse and plant operations and activities. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

General Laborer Work Schedule:

1st shift- 8am-4pm

2nd shift- 12pm-8pm

3rd Shift- 8pm-4am

Salary: Starting at $18/hour

General Laborer Responsibilities:

• Heavy warehouse work
• Receiving and putting away orders and product rotation
• Cleanliness of facility - taking out garbage and recycling daily
• Verifying inventory
• Rotating stock
• Data entry with Excel spreadsheets and AS400 software
• Stocking shelves
• Working in a freezer and cooler with temperatures of -20 degrees Fahrenheit & 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Occasionally assisting with deliveries
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Unload trailers
• Case bottles, operate, and clean equipment

General Laborer Required Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting between 40 — 80 lbs
• Involves significant repetitive climbing, bending, and reaching
• Ability to spend 5-8 hours removing bottles off skid and place in plastic crate
• Need to be able to stack full crates onto a pallet
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical condition
• Good written skills
• Ability to do simple math
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Familiarity with computers — experience with email and Excel
• Skilled to deal with problem solving
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
