Alamo Coffee Company is Veteran-owned, specialty coffee roasting company that is currently expanding our operations. We opened our first cafe in Lampasas, TX and are looking for candidates to fill a Full Time Coffee Shop Manager Position in Round Rock, TX.
At Alamo Coffee Company we prepare and serve Craft Coffee and other beverages, as well as quick-service Breakfast and Lunch items to customers in the cafe and through our drive-thru window. This is a fast-paced environment that does a high-volume of food and beverages. We prepare our offerings “In-House” as much as possible, to include Coffee Roasting, Coffee Preparation, Baking, and Food Preparation.

Energetic Full-Time Coffee Shop Manager wanting to work in a fun faced paced environment. The General Manager should lead by example, hold high standards, and be quick to resolve issues. Alamo Coffee Company is expanding quickly and will have opportunity for advancement. The GM must adapt to the quick evolution of a growing company and aide in the advancement of the company as a whole.
Skills & Experience: Candidate should possess 2 years of high-volume Restaurant Management, 2 years of Quick Service Hospitality, or 2 years Coffee Shop Management/Supervisory Position. Candidate’s skills should reflect experience and be proficient in areas like payroll, time clock management, comps and voids, cash management, labor, COGS, guest service, and team management.
Professional Standards & Work Ethic: Candidate should possess and provide examples of high standards of excellence and be self-motivated to function in a dynamic work environment of a quickly growing company. Alamo Coffee Company holds very high standards and expects dedication to the Craft of Specialty Coffee and Food Preparation, dedication to Excellent Guest Service, and the success of your team. Candidate should possess a strong work ethic, leading by example. Alamo Coffee expects all team members to display a strong work ethic, this begins at the top with the Managers.
Food and Alcoholic Beverage Safety: Candidate should possess Texas Food Manager Certification. Candidate should also possess or be willing to acquire TABC license and be knowledgeable of TABC laws and process. Must be willing and able to practice/enforce Safe Food and Beverage Handling Practices.
Customer Service and Cash Handling Experience: Candidate should have experience dealing with guests and meeting their needs, accepting payments and processing transactions. The General Manager must have a guest first focus. An ability and desire to get to know the guests, understand/anticipate their needs, and deliver our products which best fits those needs.
Barista Experience: Barista experience preferably with Specialty Grade Coffees. Working knowledge of Brew Variables of various extraction and preparation methods to include: Drip Coffee, Espresso, Pour Overs, French Press and Cold Brew. Must be willing to become proficient at Steaming Milk into Micro foam and pouring Latte Art. Must be willing to keep a clean and orderly workspace, do dishes and buss tables and other tasks as assigned.
Leadership and Training Experience: Candidate should possess 1-2 years’ experience in a leadership role. Candidate should possess a “Lead from the front” mentality. Must conduct yourself in a Professional Manner. Must be Fair and Equitable in the treatment of Customers and Staff. Must demonstrate a high level of Proficiency and be capable of Training, Supervising, and Ensuring Company Standards are always met.
Inventory Management and Reporting Experience: Candidate should have experience in inventory management. Developing and reviewing pars, following order guides, COGS, and working with distributors. Candidate should also understand and be fluent in daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory and reporting.
Salary: Competitive Salary based on experience, ability, and initiative. Annual incentive bonuses for individual performance and overall business location performance.

Schedule:
- 8-to-10-hour shift
- Day shift – Occasional night and weekends necessary
- Holidays & Weekend availability necessary
- Flexibility with your schedule during first month of new store opening necessary
