What will I be responsible for?

• Managing entire branch operation for the local contract logistics product.
• Ensuring all functions of the logistics product for wholesale, retail, and ecommerce operations, including value added services, inventory, shipping, receiving, putaway, picking, and storage of all client product are running within branch performance guidelines
• Managing relationships with key accounts in the facility, including regular business reviews
• Providing strategic guidance to clients regarding management of their supply chain and logistics operation
• Aligning operational growth with client growth
• Managing the financial operations of the logistics product - reviewing the P&L regularly to ensure the operation is on track with budget
• Reviewing the logistics profit daily in relation to overheads related to personnel, equipment, space, and other costs, using internal business intelligence reporting tools
• Reviewing logistics accounts regularly to monitor for profitability and ensure performance is aligned with internal metrics and client contracts
• Monitoring accounting functions including billing, invoicing, and costing
• Implementing process improvement to continue building operational efficiencies
• Continuously developing new potential client relationships by sourcing and meeting with prospective business.
• Overseeing a team of logistics professionals, ranging from entry level warehouse employees to account leads and supervisors. This includes HR related responsibilities such as time off, training and development, performance management, recruitment, and disciplinary matters
• Ensuring resources allocations such as warehouse space, labor and equipment meet business needs
• Adhering to and enforcing corporate policies and safety standards set by company and OSHA
• Performing additional duties as assigned

What do you need from me?

• 6+ years' experience in logistics warehouse environment
• 6+ years' experience in progressively higher level management role
• Must have experience directly managing a third-party logistics operation
• Several years' experience in ecommerce operations

What makes me stand out?

• College degree or equivalent experience / Experience using WMS / Bilingual
• Other certifications related to logistics and supply chain operations

Physical Demands

• This role requires individuals to talk, hear, use hands, stand, walk, sit, and see.
• Ability to lift, lower, and maneuver packages between 20 and 70 lbs.
• This position involves heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching.
