Who we are looking for:

Locana is looking for a GIS Analyst to support our mobile solution team. The ideal candidate will have Geospatial experience and a working knowledge of geospatial software and databases, geoprocessing and analysis tools, automating tasks using software and/or scripting specializing in mobile spatial environments, and will know how to work with end-users to enhance their knowledge of GIS software and mobile applications. This position will support high-profile client projects and work as part of a Locana project team.

This position requires excellent customer service, problem-solving abilities, and strong attention to detail. You are a self-starter and enjoy working independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. The ability to communicate effectively across the organization and an eagerness to learn and grow your career as the company grows are key to team member success at Locana.

Our Team Members work remotely from a home office with the potential for future travel to client sites of 25%.

Here are the skills and experience we are looking for:

• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and associated software to produce, display, and analyze spatial information.
• Configuration of ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro projects and feature services
• Experience working in a consulting environment to interface directly with customers to refine requirements
• Work with the project lead to assess current business and system processes and support definition of solutions, improvement plans, and change management approaches
• Using JSON to configure mobile functionality
• Go-Live and Post Delivery Client support
• BS in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 5-7 years of GIS industry experience

Locana offers a competitive compensation package including salary, bonus, and highly valued benefits programs. We are also working to increase wage transparency in an effort to create equity and equality. The annual starting salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000. Highly qualified individuals may have the opportunity to earn more.
