POSITION: GPO Relationship Manager

LOCATION: Remote

SALARY: 95-115k

Metz Culinary Management is growing and we are seeking a Dynamic GPO Relationship Manager with a strong background in Healthcare Dining and Environmental operations who will share and reinforce our culture, values and attributes creating an environment for personal growth, enrichment and career success.

The ideal candidate will additionally have a strong Sales/Business Development background, with the ability to influence, negotiate and create compelling presentations. Our GPO Relationship Manager will work with our Healthcare GPO partners to strengthen the Metz brand, and drive new business growth and development through these relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop Business Plans for driving growth with Healthcare GPOs
• Develop new sales opportunities via GPO relationships for the sales organization
• Develop joint business goals with respective GPOs
• Develop and maintain ongoing productive relationships with practices, GPO account managers, and sales teams
• Identify and resolve any GPO alignment issues
• Provide industry data and market intel to the sales team
• Present Metz company capabilities for GPOs as needed, as well as present market data and insights to the sales team as well as executive leadership
• Identify potential areas of new service offerings
• Develop and implement business plans to support growth within each respective GPO

· Complete and maintain all GPO application and accompanying paperwork and renewal processes including:

o On-line access and GPO database

o Complete RFP Applications and renewals

o Create calendar of GPO food and EVS outsourcing renewals

o Coordination of GPO contracts with legal dept

Experience and Required Skills

Requirements:

• Proven knowledge of healthcare GPOs and existing relationships with key personnel
• Knowledge of the food service, environment services, and/or facilities management is preferred
• Ability to consolidate and present market data
• Excellent interpersonal skills, which include networking, influencing, negotiation, presentation, and written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and drive strategic thinking to manage complex GPO markets
• Ability to demonstrate proven track record
• Demonstrate proficiency with MS-Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to travel as needed (estimated as 25%)

Experience:

• 5+ years working for or in conjunction with healthcare GPOs
• Solid knowledge of food management operations, environmental services, and/or facilities management
• Direct sales or management experience a plus
• Track record of growth

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
