Job Description:
Practice in Paradise! Independent, well established and respected independent GYN/Urogyn surgeon looking to add another General GYN with interests in GYN surgery and/or Urogynecology. Robotic experience is a plus! Englewood is a rapidly growing and affluent community of families, “Baby Boomers” and “Retirees” with no OB. OB is available within a 30 minute drive to Venice, Sarasota or Port Charlotte. Call will be shared with the other GYN Surgeon and is very light. This position will be a salaried employee with full benefits and the opportunity for excellent growth along with the population growth in this beautiful beach community.
Opportunity Highlights / Qualified Candidates:
- Must be Board Certified
- Active Florida Medical License (or able to obtain one)
- Experience with Robotic Procedures - Hysterectomy, Sacrocolpopexy and Laparoscopy
- Experience with Vaginal and Pelvic Floor Prolapse, and Vaginal Rejuvenation
- Comfortable with 1 major surgery and 2 minor surgeries a week
- No prenatal care or OB
- Located closely to strong community hospitals and surgery center
- Collegial relationships with local medical and university centers
- Office based minimally invasive procedures
- Cystoscopy
- Urodynamics
- Laporoscopic training a plus!
- Da Vinci surgical system available
- Inpatient and outpatient consults
- eClinicalWorks EMR/practice management
Incentive/Benefits Package:
- RVU production incentive - Negotiable in year two (2)
- Sign-on bonus up to $10,000
- Relocation allowance up to $10,000
