Essential / Quality Functions
· Leading and developing the quality department, strategic development for business expansion
· Overseeing failure notice and complaint process
· Ensures high quality standards
· Contact to customer Quality acc to Peer-to-peer and communication matrix
· Cross-plant alignment and communication with Head of Group Quality Assurance (Headquarter in Europe)
· Responsible to align the site Quality processes with the group requirements
· Responsible for supporting suppliers and copackers in terms of highest quality
· Deep knowledge in food safety systems (IFS, ISO 22000/FSSC, HACCP, FSMA-HRPC, Kosher, Halal, GMP and Food Defense of the organization).
· Deep knowledge in the organizations integrated management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)
· Responsible for the implementation of required standards as well as their successful (re)-certification
· Advises all departments in the areas of quality management
· Integrates employees in continuous quality development and active process management
· Evaluation and advancement of existing systems and processes
· Performs and moderates root cause analyses using QM tools, including failure and complaint management
· Continuously monitors and evaluates process information
· Responsible for operational CIP process compliance and its active advancement
· Design and control of the training program with regard to quality topics
· Complies with and enforces hygiene regulations in production areas and in the vicinity of the HACCP system
· Coordinates and ensures the implementation of preventative and corrective measures in cooperation with other departments
· Links the quality management system with the organizations quality system
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
· Works in both office and production process environments
· This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
· Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices
