Parker Tide is a veteran-owned, small business operating in downtown Washington, DC. We currently seeking a Health Expert to work with one of our Federal clients. The health analyst will provide technical assistance to the federal OIG staff on health-related programs.

Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance

Place of Performance: 100% Remote

The Analyst will support research and Congressional reports on global health programs, monitor current global health events, interface with Agency and Office of Inspector General staff, develop data call questions to obtain key information, and identify key trends and challenges involving USAID global health assistance. Conduct research and develop information, analysis, and proposals related to global health issues. Coordinate with interagency and OIG representatives for collection of report data, analysis, and narratives. Engage in and document data calls and consult with key OIG and Agency personnel to assist OIG in meeting reporting requirements. Organize and develop report data into comprehensive narratives concerning the progress of global health assistance programs and oversight efforts. Draft, edit and review draft deliverables such as reports and plans. Maintain current knowledge and awareness of global health developments, OIG activities, and policy developments that may impact global health oversight

Requirements:

• Current Secret security clearance required
• Bachelor or master’s degree in history, political science, or public health
• 5+ years of health analyst expertise to the federal government
• Expert writing experience/expertise
• Expertise in writing monographs on foreign policy topics, particularly related to international development, is preferred.
• Expertise in writing on global health topics, particularly pandemic response, is desired
• Knowledge of U.S. or public international organization global health programs is desired
