The primary function of an Health Information Management Specialist I is to assist in all of the on-site operation needs of the EMCM Health Information Management Department. This includes, but is not limited to, preparing/scanning paper based documents, quantatively and qualitatively analyzing a hybrid chart in multiple systems, and assisting in the release of information to patients and providers.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous clerical experience required, Health Information Management preferred.
• Proficiency in alpha and numerical filing required.
• Knowledge and experience working with software applications, specifically Microsoft Windows required.
