Description:

Responsible for collaborating and assisting the Health Plan President in the smooth and efficient operation of BayCare Health Plans. In this capacity, the Director shares responsibility for integrating the strategic plan of the organization with the operations while providing oversight for the development of high-quality, cost effective, compassionate care. Provides oversight and departmental responsibility for all areas of operation, provider engagement, provider contracting, vendor management, claims, data/analytics and administrative function oversight and program management. Expected to act in the absence of the President and exercise management responsibility over the health plan ensuring efficient services that are designed to meet the needs of members. This will either be done directly, or through delegation of responsibility to team members. Additional skills required include budget development and understanding of claims and health plan operations; program adherence to CMS / ACA guidelines and compliance; and vendor integration / vendor management skills. Ability to analyze and act on data to contribute to increased membership and consumer satisfaction. Must have demonstrated experience working in or providing oversight of health plan claims. Required experience is 5 years, Health Plan industry and 3 years, Health Plan Claims. Must have experience within Medicare Advantage or Medicaid.
