ESSENTIAL DUITES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Prepares, processes, and inputs approved IT invoices into Accountants Payable system.
- Obtains and maintain receipts for monthly automatic charges to American Express Card and posts them in Expense Point or other expense system for payment.
- Receives, installs, and configures personal computers for filed and support office staff. Installs software. Sets up e-mail for new users. Explains features and procedures to end users.
- Provides specific guidance to users regarding questions on software or hardware use.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, and/or replaces malfunctioning equipment. Arranges for placement from spare inventory as necessary to maintain continuous operations.
- Reads technical manuals, confers with users, or conducts diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
- Maintains documentation of maintenance and trouble records.
- Supports field information technology needs, including software, systems training, communications,
- analysis tools, and any other system needs. Maintains tools and security provisions that will prevent
- unauthorized access to company data systems. Assures that critical company files and tools are
- backed up in a structured and secure manner and that the company systems can be restored with a minimum amount of downtime.
- Performs other duties as dictated by business needs.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides guidance to contractors for specific jobs at headquarters and field locations.
QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifications listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent, certification in Information Technology, minimum of two years in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and/or maintenance of PC hardware/software, and networks; or, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Restaurant experience is helpful.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of the hardware or software used by the company such as Micros 3700 Point of Sale (POS) system, SQL database, Windows, Office 365, CrunchTime, Micros, Adobe, Restaurant 365 etc..
- Ability to work independently prioritizing projects and duties with little to no direction from manager.
- Ability to make decisions with regards to priorities and determining best methods to resolve issues.
- Good analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve conflict and deliver results.
- Knowledge of PC’s office automation software, and networking.
- Knowledge of basic networking and personal computer configuration and troubleshooting.
- Project management skills with ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintain a high level of accuracy, meet deadlines, while paying strong attention to detail.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors and/or others as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software; may be required to spreadsheets, presentations, and/or other documents.
- Strong customer service orientation. Exercises active listening, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the issue and asking questions as appropriate.
- Good interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate and work effectively with others.

Experience
Required
- 2 year(s): A minimum of two years in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and/or maintenance of PC hardware/software, and networks; or, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Restaurant experience is helpful.
