In support of our continued growth, we are searching for a Help Desk Analyst. The Jones Sign team looks to hire, engage and retain the most talented employees and we’re looking for another key component of our team. We want a professional that has a curiosity and aptitude for continually evolving technology. Passion for using technology to drive efficiency will move you to the front of the line.
This is an office position based out of our facility in De Pere. No remote due to the nature of the tasks associated with this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide equipment set-ups such as laptops, desktops, and tablets.
- Provide technical support to resolve users’ computer hardware and software problems.
- Communicate with users via phone, chat, email, and/or a support ticketing system.
- Coordinate service or replacement of defective products from vendors and manufacturers.
- Maintain knowledge of technical innovations, trends, and best practices; make recommendations for new software and hardware.
- Escalate requests to appropriate IT staff when needed.
- Develop training materials and/or provide training for new hires.
Qualifications:
- Two years of experience or Associate’s degree required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace Suite.
- Ability to explain technical problems to nontechnical employees.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
