FIRSTLIGHT HOME CARE provides quality care with compassion and dignity to seniors in their home. We are flexible and will work around your existing school, work, or childcare schedule. We have a opening for a PART-TIME home health aid. We love experience but WILL TRAIN compassionate, motivated and responsible HOME CARE HERO'S TO BE!

We provide COMPANION and PERSONAL CARE services in accordance with established care plans. Great opportunities for working moms, DSP's, HHA's returning to work or just wanting to stay busy and help others. Terrific way to start your career and learn caregiving hands on from experienced Aids.

We are looking for 2 aids to help clients with morning and afternoon care. Clients are in Hemlock Farms, Matamoras and Tafton. Our clients require companion and personal care with light housekeeping and assistance with ADL's. We pay travel time in-between clients and reimburse for mileage. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with clients’ personal care needs.
• Assist with ambulation using walkers, wheelchairs, Hoyer and sit to stand lifts.
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Meal preparation
• Assist with medication reminders
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

REQUIREMENTS

• Well-organized and reliable
• Good communication and people skills
• Positive and compassionate attitude
• TB and immunizations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
