Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat Findlay/Hancock County is posting for a critical construction role to assist in this mission — Home Repair Program Manager.
As the Repair Program lead, you will work with members of every Habitat department to ensure the seamless transition of family applicants to stable housing. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead unskilled volunteers, and our families to repair the place they call home.

Responsibilities

*The primary purpose of the Repair Manager is to ensure 40 owner occupied repair projects are completed each year, on-time and within budget utilizing unskilled volunteer labor and some sub-contractors to complete home repairs on homes and mobile homes. *This position is responsible for going to the home to scope the repair, prepare plan to fix then develop the material take-off, coordinate any needed subcontractors, deliver materials & tools to the home, keep your site safe, abide by building regulatory compliance, conduct all post-repair quality inspections.
Qualifications

*This position requires successful completion of pre-employment screening, motor vehicle and background screening, valid drivers license, ability to stand for long periods of time and lift periodically up to 50 libs. *3 years or more of residential construction or remodel/repair experience; *Be able to successfully collaborate and communicate with various internal and external parties; *Personal organization skills with ability to self-govern workload to meet departmental goals; *Working knowledge OSHA standards and ADA requirements.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $25.00 - $27.00/hour.
