The WesleyLife Public Health program specifically targets vulnerable populations in Polk County who are un- or under-insured and have limited nursing options available to them to deliver in-home nursing and homemaking services to support their health and independence. This role is Full-time, Monday-Friday 8 am-5:00 pm, no weekends or holidays.

As a Home Care Aide for Public Health:
- Travel to complete the assignment at the pre-scheduled time and location.

Following each client’s individualized care plan
- Maintain a sanitary and orderly environment
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Assist clients with light housekeeping and home management
- Participate in staff meetings

Experience
Required- 1 year(s): Previous experience working with clients with mental and behavioral issues
- Ability to pass a pre-hire background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report
- Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and valid insurance
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 year(s): Previous home care experience
Education
Required- High School or better
Licenses & Certifications
Preferred- Certified Nursing Asst
