PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: The Honor Bar Attendant is responsible for providing guests with a fully-stocked and well-maintained honor bars on a consistent basis throughout their stay. The Honor Bar Attendant is responsible for stocking honor bar supplies in the guest rooms. Responsibilities include, not limited to taking accurate inventory of all in-room honor bars, posting appropriate charges to guest room bills, cleaning and defrosting the mini-bars, maintaining and stocking inventory and ordering inventory from the storeroom.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (This list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

Inventory and supply guest room honor bars on a daily basis, maintaining par stock levels and reporting to appropriate departments all usage by item, room number and cost. -
Guard against pilferage of supply carts.

Inform the Front Desk in a timely manner of late charges to guest rooms due to the honor bar use.

Maintain high standards of the hotel with particular regard to repeat and VIP guests.

Maintain communication with supervisor when honor bars are re-stocked and complete so rooms may be sold or occupied.

Prepare requisitions, orders, or other documents requisitioning new or additional stock items.

Review stock to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess or close-to- be-expired stock.

Ensure all assigned guestrooms have service completed with correct status marked at the end of the day, including any information for input into guest history file.

Inspect all equipment and ensure excellent working condition. If any repairs are required, fill out a maintenance request form and forward same to the Engineering Department

Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, instruments, and storage areas to ensure compliance to safety regulations.
