WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Acts as a point of contact for volunteer and services issues; provides information, resolves problems, and directs referrals to appropriate hospital personnel for follow-up.

• Facilitates volunteer orientation; provides information to volunteers including role responsibilities, department policies and procedures, and Franciscan Alliance's mission and values.

• Participates in people management activities for direct team members such as scheduling, providing feedback for performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and interviews.

• Provides excellent customer service, answers questions promptly, and offers accurate directions and information regarding the hospital facility and services.

• Screens volunteer applicants and conducts the volunteer intake and interview process; selects and supervises volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

• High School Diploma/GED - Required

• 2 years' Hospice Experience - Preferred
