This well-established hospital is moving quickly to find a VP of Human Resources to join their remarkable team. This leader will use their previous healthcare experience to ensure safe and optimal care is delivered to patients every day at this acute care facility.

As the VP of Human Resources, you will be joining a thriving community hospital that has been providing services to patients for over 80 years. The hospital maintains a wide variety of both inpatient and outpatient services for patients. These include general surgery, cancer care, physical therapy, women’s care, and much more. As a result of the hospital’s dedicated staff, the hospital has been awarded The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.

The VP of Human Resources will report to and work collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer in order to ensure the staffing needs of the hospital are consistently being met. The VP will act as the liaison between hospital employees and the HR department. This person will also maintain the liaison between the administrative and departmental leaders regarding the oversight of workshops, educational programs, interviews, and related activities.

The VP of Human Resources will have the opportunity to plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies and activities of the Human Resource Department regarding staffing, compensation and benefits, staff development, and worker’s compensation. The HR VP will also direct the coordination of salary increases, leave records, benefits administration, and payroll. The VP will also need to be constantly aware of the staffing needs of the hospital and ensure effective approaches are being performed in order to fill openings and meet each department's needs.
