Hospitality Aide- Paid CNA Training

Overview:

We are offering advanced career opportunities to become a Certified Nursing Assistant! The Hospitality Aide position is designed for transition into a Certified Nursing Assistant. As a Hospitality Aide you can work and enjoy training as a Certified Nursing Assistant simultaneously. Afterwards, you will be promoted as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Job Duties Include:

• Performs only those care procedures that you have been trained to do.
• Completes inventory and marks the residents’ personal possessions as instructed.
• Assists residents with packing their personal possessions when they are being transferred to a new room, or when being discharged.
• Transports residents to new rooms or to the receiving area.
• Makes beds as instructed.
• Puts extra covers on beds as requested.
• Answers resident call promptly.
• Checks residents routinely to ensure that their personal care needs are being met.
• Serves between meal and bedtime snacks as instructed.
• Checks rooms for food articles (i.e., food in proper container, unauthorized food items, etc.).
• Demonstrate key competencies as required by the position and in accordance with State/Federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health of other individuals in the workplace.
• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility or department which may include a medical and physical examination.

Pay: $17.75 - $19.50 / hour
