The Oyster Society on Marco Island is looking for a host to welcome our guests and start their dining experience with us.

The Oyster Society is an upscale restaurant where our guest come to relax with friends and family and enjoy an outstanding meal and atmosphere.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival.

Manager the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table.

When immediate seating is limited, record the guest name and number of people in their party.

Provide guests with an estimated waiting time.

Let guest know when their table is available.

Accommodate special seating request, whenever possible.

Seat guest to balance the customer flow in service stations

Upon seating, offer guest a menu and inform them of their servers’ name.

Inspect the table for proper presentation and completeness.

Relay message to servers and bus persons as needed.

Thank guest as they leave and invite them to return.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Friendly and positive personality

Ability to multi task.

This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time.
