ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Turner Enterprises Management is currently seeking a dedicated House Attendant with a strong attention to detail to ensure an exceptional guest experience in a luxury setting. The employee must have a strong measure of integrity and willing to work alone and in a team setting.

As a House Attendant, job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of guest housing and accommodations.
  • Light housekeeping such as bed making, floor sweeping, vacuuming, moping, dusting, and polishing.
  • Understand and respond to individual guests’ needs.
  • Ensure and coordinate the laundering of guest linens.
  • Iron table linens, bed linens, and personal clothing.
  • Perform general lawn and garden maintenance such as mowing and weed eating.
  • Inspect all rooms /outdoor areas and ensure they meet company standards.
  • Shop for groceries and house articles.
  • Assist with meals and cleaning up after meals as directed by the Chef.
  • Coordinate annual deep cleaning of guest facilities.
  • All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
The employee must possess excellent communication skills, written, via phone, and in person. The employee must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
5 years’ applicable experience with at least 1 year in a luxury hotel/resort setting is required.

CERTIFICATES / LICENSES
If position requires operation of a vehicle, the employee must possess a valid Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment. The employee’s driving record must meet the standards and requirements of the Company and the Company's insurance carrier.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
  • The employee must adhere to Company policies and procedures, which are included in the Turner Enterprises Management, LLC Employee Handbook.
  • The employee must present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire, pursuant to federal law.
  • The candidate will be subject to undergo pre-employment drug test and background check, (after offer is given but before applicant has commenced work). Random drug tests are given throughout the year.
  • The Company operates as a drug free/smoke free workplace.
  • The employee must sign a confidentiality agreement.
  • The employee must present a clean personal appearance.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
