Housekeeper Job Description

Our goal is to provide a superior level of cleaning quality in an assigned area to maintain a clean working environment.

• Reports to the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director for work schedules.
• Performs daily cleaning procedures in accordance with HHS training videos in assigned areas.
• Records work completed on Area Assignment Checklist.
• Polices assigned area at the beginning of each shift.
• Responds to Housekeeping pages.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the department Director.

Sitters Program:

The primary duty of the sitter is to keep the patient under close observation, meaning that the patient must be within line of sight at all times to prevent the patient from injuring themselves or others.

Job Responsibilities

Physical Requirements of the Job

• Able to lift 0-40 lbs. frequently.
• Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, sitting, and reaching continuously throughout the shift.
• Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, patient, or equipment (over 100 lbs.) on tile and carpeted surfaces continually throughout the shift.
• Capable of frequently pushing and pulling furniture and equipment (25 to 300 lbs.).
• Capable of lifting furniture, patients, and equipment frequently.Other Job Expectations
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evening hours as needed per assignment.
• Because Patient Sitters interact frequently with facility employees, patients, and family members, Patient Sitters must be able to communicate clearly with others (verbally and in writing) in English when working in inpatient or patient-related areas.

Pay is firm at $13.78 p/hr

AM Shifts Available: 7AM - 3:30 PM; 8AM - 4:30PM, 9AM - 5:30PM

PM Shifts Available: 3PM - 11:30PM; 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM; 4PM - 12:30 AMWe’re hiring on all Shifts and we want team members with great attitudes that are ready to help support our patients.
