Title: HR Administrator

Department: Strategic Services

Reports to: Director of Strategic Services


Job Summary

The HR Administrator is responsible for supporting all aspects of human resource management. Responsible for assisting Human Resources team manage all paperwork, filing, HRIS entries, etc. in order to achieve successful HR initiatives as well as well as engage in employee and community relations issues, training and development needs, HR Compliance, and coordination of company benefits plans and talent acquisition process.


Job Description

  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and federal/state/local legislation and assists to ensure company compliance
  • Interact and liaise with employees to assist with employer relations questions
  • Receives weekly new hire onboarding documents and conducts a careful review of E-Verify, I-9, Post-Hire Medical Questionnaire, background screens and drug tests, etc. to assure accuracy before filing in employment folders in SharePoint and enters all new hire information in ADP.
  • Act as document control for maintenance and updates of HRIS systems (ADP, eCMS, UKG, SharePoint); responsible for all employee maintenance within these systems (pay rate changes, title changes, terminations, employee personnel file updates, etc.)
  • Maintain Employee Relocation tracker to assure budget is maintained and save the original documents to a folder for any future tax audit.
  • Maintain tracking logs of all vehicle rental agreements, and assure that all Certificates of Insurance are up-to-date.
  • Supports tracking of all employee-related training, performance reviews, and other required employment status monitoring
  • Upload Employee Handbook and applicable policies to ADP with all other required documents to be shared with employees
  • Monitor Federal and State Employment Law Posters to keep jobsite bulletin boards updated
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong computer skills in the Microsoft Suite, and familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Consistently exhibit high degrees of confidentiality
