Job description
The HR Specialist (Front Desk) is responsible for organizing the Human Resources office in compliance with established policies and procedures. Duties for this positions include answering and directing all incoming phone calls, greeting employees and vendors as they enter the HR office, maintaining HR files, and assisting with the recruiting process to include references and paperwork. In addition, the position acts as system administrator for computerized employee record databases, resolves guest issues, and assists the HR department by providing administrative support to all divisions. Responsible for maintaining high levels of confidentiality. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Associates Degree in Business or related field (preferred)
Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum two years clerical/administrative experience in a similar sized organization (required)
- Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must have excellent phone etiquette
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite
- Must be familiar with Ultipro HRIS program
- Previous Human Resources experience is required
Physical Requirements:
- Must have good manual and finger dexterity
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to stand, push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Upon offer must obtain Class IIIB Gaming License ($155-$200)
- Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
