The HR Systems Analyst serves as a Workday expert in HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Management, and Learning. This role requires the associate to use their strategic skills to drive efficient business processes, and ensure alignment with our implementation philosophies. Experience with an integrated HCM, effective communication, and analytical skills are also required to achieve goals and objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Workday application for core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, and Learning
- Serves as a subject matter expert for configuration, maintenance, and reporting
- Advise functional teams on the use of systems and processes
- Troubleshoot issues, assess root causes and possible solutions
- Gather and analyze customer business and technical requirements
- Create an implementation plan for each solution including meetings and coordination with the customer and other systems teams as needed
- Develop solutions by evaluating business process options and workflow solutions
- Write and perform test scripts to ensure intended functionality, operation, and performance requirements are achieved
- Document configuration changes and approvals by internal controls
- Develop advanced custom reports
- Take initiative as an independent worker by being organized and detailed focused with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work
- Research, analyze, and resolve problems or questions presented by associates, leadership, and/or other functional area partners using knowledge of the entire system
MINIMUM Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College coursework preferred
Experience
- Two (2) years of experience in Workday core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, or Learning business process configuration, and customer support experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Process and continual improvement driven
- Ability to research and learn advanced Excel skills to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Self-motivated, creative problem solver with good time management skills, the ability to meet deadlines, strong attention to detail
Work CONDITIONS
Work Environment
- Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
- Limited amount of local and/or multiple location traveling required
- Professional Dress is required when in contact with families
Work Postures
- Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
Physical Demands
- Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, including paperwork, calculators, computers, and phone usage
Work Hours
- Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises
