HTML Email Developer

The HTML Email Developer is responsible for the coding, producing, proofing, testing, and troubleshooting HTML email campaigns. The HTML Email Developer produces high-quality and optimized HTML emails in line with company goals and objectives. This person is responsible for ensuring a consistent email experience in webmail as well as other email applications such as Google Gmail and Microsoft Outlook.
The HTML Email Developer works with email designers, copywriters, and campaign managers to ensure all aspects of HTML emails conform to the team vision.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive experiences for email.
- Develop/modify email templates and existing campaigns.
- Contribute to the continued modernization and evolution of the brand.
- Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility.
- Create, and QA complex email campaigns with dynamic content, and SMS messaging.
- Ensure identical rendering across browsers, ESPs, and devices.
- Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues.
Your Skills
- Relevant email development work experience.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Proficient in responsive email design and front-end development.
- Knowledgeable of email compliance regulations.
