The Human Resources Business Partner will report directly to the Sr. Director, Human Resources. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the human resources department inclusive of payroll processing, compliance program maintenance, and acting as the human resources point of contact for internal Synapse Health team members. Additionally, this role will be a strategic partner with the Sr. Director, Human Resources and business stakeholders to define the human resources department strategy and execute based on talent strategy.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with the Synapse Health business stakeholders to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Partner with the Synapse Health’s Sr. Director, Human Resources on the build-out of the human resources department including implementation of the 3-year strategic plan.
- Partner with Synapse Health’s Sr. Human Resources Coordinator on full-cycle recruitment including job description creation, job posting management, screening candidates, manage interview scheduling, and extending formal offer letters.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the performance management process at Synapse Health including probationary period, annual, mid-year, corrective action, succession planning, etc.
- Manage and support human resources compliance program including policy and procedure creation and maintenance, training requirements for ACHC and federal and state law requirements.
- Manage the semi-monthly payroll process utilizing Paylocity.
- Partner with Synapse Health’s Sr. Human Resources Coordinator to process leaves of absence, STD/LTD, and workers compensation claims.
- Perform additional job duties and responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP OR PHR, preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems
- Demonstrate organizational skills

- Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
