POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Generalist serves as front line support to our business leaders and employees providing consultation, coaching and guidance in employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, policies and procedures, compensation and benefits. This position will specifically support the plant in Florence, Kentucky.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Employee Relations: Create and maintain a positive employee relations environment as well as quality working relationships with our front-line leaders and employees. Responsible for employee relations matters.
  • Performance Management: Supports front-line leaders with addressing employee performance concerns including guiding them through the disciplinary and termination processes.
  • Employee Engagement: Support the HR Manager and Business Leaders with engagement action planning and follow-up.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with required federal, state and local employment laws. Train and guide managers on employment laws (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, etc.).
  • Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing processes in order to streamline for optimal effectiveness and efficiency
  • Recruitment & On-Boarding: Partner with Talent Acquisition on complex recruitment initiatives to develop comprehensive sourcing strategies and support leaders throughout the process
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist work experience supporting a plant
  • 2+ years’ experience in employee relations and compliance (employment laws, principles and practices)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated agility
  • Proven ability to problem solve, work through issues with limited information, find efficiencies
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent technical/systems skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The current pay range for this position is $62,000 - $78,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon, but may not be limited to, the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and applicable laws.
For 2023, this position is eligible for a bonus target of 7.5% in accordance with the bonus plan.
