Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible to ensure that sound, ethical, consistent, and legal practices are applied for all employees through compliance with all state, local, and federal laws. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for oversight of Workers’ Compensation, training, and implementation of policies and procedures related to HR.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Administer compensation program including monitoring evaluation program.
- Performs benefits administration to include group health care plans.
- Handles all employee relation issues
- Maintains compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Design and develop training programs as needed to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations
- Lead full cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing and screening candidates, supporting hiring managers, reviewing background checks and onboarding screens
- Responsible for management of the interactive process and processing accommodation requests.
- Responsible for reviewing performance management plans and termination decisions.
