  • Recruits qualified applicants, conducting initial interviews, scheduling department interviews, pre-employment testing, conducting background checks, and processing new hire paperwork all in accordance with company policies and procedures while ensuring legal compliance
  • Partners with management to resolve employee relations issues, and conduct investigations
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continuous improvement
  • Experience in the use of software and HRIS platforms
  • Act as a resource for associate questions (benefits, etc.)
  • Assists management in monitoring labor, attendance absenteeism, and turnover
  • Work with plant management to manage, monitor, and control plant-wide safety
  • Experience with payroll processing
  • Participates in compensation surveys and/or conducts wage surveys as needed
  • Assists with Company events as needed
  • Generates reports on results, trends, and other relevant information
  • Maintains records of associate HR-related documents
  • Represents the company in defense of HR-related hearings and investigations
  • Organize and attend job fairs
  • Monitor all policies to assure they are accurate and up to date
  • Performs other duties as assigned
