We are looking for a (Human Resources) HR Generalist to join our team and implement various human resources programs. The Human Resource Generalist assist the Human Resource (HR) department including recruiting, interviewing, hiring staff, payroll support, and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Job Overview:

Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with upper management to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee verifications.
Performs On-boarding and terming employees in Paycor Perform and Paycor Recruiting systems
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven experience as an HR Generalist
Experience in full cycle recruiting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. (Paycor)

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
At least one year recruiting experience preferred.
At least three years Generalist experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
