:Express Employment Professionals is assisting a growing company in recruiting for a Human Resources / Employee Retention Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and administration of recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Establish recruiting and placement standards consistent within the organization.
- Assist in selection of key talent for the organization.
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
- Maintain knowledge of and ensure the company is in compliance with all federal and state employment laws.
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution.
- Provide recommendations to the President in the administration of the company’s overall benefits and compensation programs to maintain a competitive and cost-effective program.
- Supervise the administration of PTO usage and carryovers based on policy guidelines.
- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
- Maintain HR systems and processes.
- Be a positive company representative in all internal and external communications.
- Execute and abide by a mutually agreed non-compete and confidentiality agreement.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Skills Required:
- Demonstrate public speaking ability. Able to articulate to staff efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrate practical analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to exercise judgment, logic, and initiative.
Qualities Required:
- Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to manage priorities, coordinate and balance several diverse projects simultaneously.
Experience Required:
- Five years experience in human resources with two years experience in a management role.
- Construction, retail, and manufacturing experience is preferred.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
