HVAC Project Manager/Estimator

Job Description: The Project Manager will be responsible for providing successful HVAC projects/installations.

Responsibilities to include: * Responds to Customer Requests and Questions, Initiates and follows up on Job site visits, performs surveys inspections for the purposes of proposal generation, work progress status and resolution to field issues. * Prompt correspondence or interaction with clients in providing services and information in a timely fashion. * Proposal Follow Ups * Customer Service Field Support * Accountability, Initiation, Coordination and Follow up of projects, project work schedules, punch lists and follow up tasks. * Monitoring status of projects, such as equipment required, submittals required, permits required and shop drawing.. * Working Knowledge of HVAC systems, able to follow design drawings, details, schedules, and specifications. * Strong organization skills, Request For Information authoring response’s, project e-mails, sketching etc… * Managing of project Sub-contractors. * Monitoring Labor material costs and budgets. * Overseeing all sequencing of installations and deliveries to the site. * Evaluating change orders, creating RFI’s, producing project scheduling of tasks, writing proposals, reviewing contracts, producing submittals and schedule of tasks and deliveries.. Must possess required skills and be able to explain and demonstrate the equipment * The skills required for maintaining an established work schedule. * Effectively using communications skills including diplomacy. Effective at using organizational and planning skills. * Supervising and coordinating the activities of assigned personnel. * Adept at Operating, installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment. * Estimating time and materials. * Maintaining and confidentiality of work related information and materials. * Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Computer Skills are Required Must have a Clean Drivers License Work Experience Required Three years work experience in general building maintenance, including 5-10 years in commercial HVAC and five years supervisory work experience. Preferred * Ten years of HVAC work experience. five years of supervisory work experience.
