South West Plumbing is looking for HVAC Service Technician!

We are looking for a problem solver that enjoys exercising critical thinking and technical skills to develop a range of high-quality solutions for customers. You will advocate for the customer and the business to seek out opportunities to create a Five Star customer experience. As a Service Technician, you will provide service and repair of heating, air quality, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems at customers’ homes.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate to customers what services are needed and why.
• Exhibits a safety-first approach during all work activities.
• Provide a thorough evaluation of the customer’s HVAC system to understand the customer needs and develop options that meet their needs.
• Maintain and repair heating, air quality, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on environmental systems.
• Clean, adjust and repair systems, and performing warranty services.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keep electronic records to document work completed and parts/components used.
• Ensures the client receives a Five Star experience during the service visit.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• HVAC service and installation experience required: 3 years or more.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Understanding advanced principles of air conditioning, heating, and the refrigeration cycle.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems.
• Working knowledge of air balancing techniques.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage with and actively listen to customers.
• Driven to exceed weekly and monthly business goals.
• Work to continuously grow technical skills.
• Valid Washington Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
