We offer 12 hour 2/2/3 schedules
- $30.36 per hour PLUS an ADDITIONAL $1.50 per hour 3rd shift Premium
- Quarterly Bonus Potential

Position Summary
The HVAC technician is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of all plant utilities. This includes ammonia refrigeration, boiler, HVAC, and utility equipment/systems, and other duties as assigned.
Other duties include equipment logs and reports, utilizing computerized maintenance systems to track equipment reliability and manage time. HVAC Technicians are a part of the Emergency Response team.
- Maintenance and operation on all major utilities
- Ammonia Refrigeration
- Steam Boilers and chemistry control
- Industrial hot water heaters
- HVAC systems
- Water systems, Reverse Osmosis system, softeners, filters
- Compressed air
- Glycol heat exchange
Work with various refrigerants, chemicals, solvents, paints, fuels, and lubricants. Must be able to work off of ladders and lift equipment. Must be able to work outdoors in any type of weather. Must be able to work in cold/hot environment.
What will make you successful
The ideal candidate has
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Prior refrigeration experience
- Technical training or certifications preferred but not required
- RETA-CARO certification is preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks and comfort working in a high-speed environment
- Solid problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to coach others
- Willingness internally and externally in diverse environmental conditions.
Candidate must be able to work in a team environment, have basic verbal and written English language communication skills, has excellent time management skills, ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs, work in various environments, and work at heights. At times they will need to support other areas of the plant. The position requires good communication skills and teamwork with all departments.
