Job Summary

As part of our Engineering department, we are looking for a Pipeline Hydrotesting and Recommissioning Engineer to support projects execution.

The Pipeline Hydrotesting and Recommissioning Engineer will report to either the Installation Engineering Manager or the Operations Manager depending on the project execution phase.

Job Description

• Ensure that the Hydrotesting and Recommissioning engineering activities are properly managed and correctly performed
• Be responsible to follow-up, plan, supervise and co-ordinate the Hydrotesting and Recommissioning operation on site.
• Organize and coordinate the activities of the Hydrotesting and Recommissioning team assigned, providing technical and administrative guidance to ensure that aims and objectives are effectively and economically achieved.
• Prepare the discipline check and/or review of documents, calculations, drawings, and schedule.
• Perform the technical and commercial evaluation of the Hydrotesting and Recommissioning Subcontractors activity in comparison with the in-house equipment and personnel cost estimation.
• Ensure technical coordination with all other phases of work, including attendance at interface meetings.
• Attend meeting with Client regarding critical issues arising from the Hydrotesting and Recommissioning activities.
• Responsible for the planning, mobilization, and operation on site of the Hydrotesting and Recommissioning equipment and personnel assigned to the project.
• Lead the Hydrotesting and Recommissioning engineering and construction activities on site.
• Administer and coordinate the Hydrotesting and Recommissioning Subcontractor and its activity on site.
• Ensure adequate training for the Hydrotesting and Recommissioning Engineers both in office and on site.
• Participate and contribute to:
• Project progress meeting,
• Engineering co-ordination meetings
• Interface meetings with Client, other Contractors, and Sub-Contractors
• Technical review meeting (concerning Procurement, Engineering, Fabrication, Operation, Interface)
• HSE meetings
• Risk Assessment

Skills Required

• Experience: 5+ years of recommissioning/commissioning experience in Oil and Gas offshore projects
• Available for offshore missions supporting offshore operations also on short notice
• Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors
• Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role
• This position requires technical and relational skills.
• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work lawfully in the US, without sponsorship

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
