Responsibilities and Duties

• Medication Reminders
• Light Housekeeping
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Run Errands

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine individualized care and monitor daily health for the elderly or persons with disabilities (i.e.: palliative, dementia, Alzheimer's, and other types of care).

• Provide personal care: bath, dress, medication monitor, meal preparation, etc.

• Housekeeping duties which COULD include: cleaning bathrooms (including toilets and tubs/shower stalls), vacuuming, mopping, light dusting, kitchen surfaces and cupboards, fridge and stove-top cleaning, watering plants, pet care (water and food), washing dishes before and after meal prep.

• Assist with travel: doctor appointments, errands, movies, shopping (drive in your vehicle or client’s vehicle).

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of recent Health Care Aide experience, and able to work independently.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

• Proof of current CPR, COVID-19 vaccine, and Hepatitis profile.

• MUST have reliable and insured transportation and be willing to commute to cities where our patients are located. (Licensed drivers are highly preferred.)

• Passionate about community health, working with and building rapport with patients.

• Able to stand, bend, squat, kneel and reach freely. Able to also freely lift 50 lbs.

• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and communicate in English as related to client care.

• Can complete Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist and written Skills test.
