Duties and responsibilities

Industrial Maintenance Technicians generally ensure the smooth running of our facility, such as installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Equipment includes motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Inspect and assess the functionality of production machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns.
• Dismantle machinery and remove/replace defective parts.
• Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports.
• Train production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Communicate with the production team.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and MSHA regulations.
• Maintain inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Familiarity with OSHA / MSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
• Good time-management skills.
• Basic computer and report writing skills.
