We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who would be responsible for the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, performing equipment repairs as requested and prioritized by management, working on PLCs, and recording all work activities in work order module of the computerized maintenance management systems.
Working on night shift earns a premium of $1.00 per hour.
Schedule is 2-2-3. Night shift is 7:30p-7:30a, Su/W/Th, M/Tu/F/Sa, alternating weeks. Day shift is 7:30a-7:30p.
Knowledge & Skills Preferred:
- 2 year technical degree and/or 3 years industrial equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing
- PMC or other Maintenance specific software database
- PLC troubleshooting and installing
- Hydraulic and pneumatics experience
- Able to work in a team environment
- Mechanical and electrical abilities
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Proven track record of excellent attendance
- Self directed with good time management skills
Job Location/ Working Conditions/ Equipment:
Production setting operating standard manual and powered equipment including but not limited to welding, machining, power tools, and hand tools. Physically capable of standing 12 hours per day, frequent bending, twisting, reaching and lifting approximately 50-100 lbs. and climbing up 60 foot towers. Able to work in hot and cold conditions.
