Seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with our clients in Crab Orchard, TN.

Payrate is between $28 - $31 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday first Shift 6am-3pm or Third Shift 11pm-7am (as needed)

In this role you help support mining operations by performing preventive maintenance and repairs on all plant and mobile equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment and repair
• Install new plant equipment
• Maintain safe and efficient work condition for all mobile equipment
• Perform electrical work
• work with outside contractors on equipment
• keep parts room neat and orderly

Qualifications:

• 
  Must have at least Completed an apprenticeship program, technical program, or and/or 3-5 years’ experience in industrial background.
• The ability and willingness to work on any shift, and be on call, overtime, and weekends.
• Must have strong diesel mechanical, electrical, planning, welding, reading blueprints, conveyor systems, hydraulics, LP09.500 Preventative Maintenance and mobile equipment repair experience.
• Must have welding experience, Industrial background with good troubleshooting skills, be able perform basic mathematical computations and ability to detect potential problems through observation in the field.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts for an extended day period during plant outages.
• Must have a telephone available and be receptive to callouts and knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Knowledgeable of current environmental regulations and practices as they relate to the lime industry.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment is desired.

Preferred Experience: 5-7 years of heavy maintenance experience in a mining environment
