Infectious Disease & Hospitalist Physician at Providence Health & Services-Montana Missoula, MT (Worksite Location 500 W. Broadway, Missoula, Montana 59802) Providence Health & Services-Montana is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease & Hospitalist Physician to join our team in Missoula Montana. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding practice that serves a diverse patient population across Western Montana and beyond. Interact with the center/hospital medical staff and specialists to ensure appropriate and timely patient care, patient transfers, and patient referrals. Manage patients through the continuum of hospital care. Order treatments, test, and consult with specialty physicians and primary care physician where appropriate. Direct, coordinate, or supervise the patient care activities of nursing and support staff. Write patient discharge summaries to summarize hospital stay. Maintain HIPAA Compliance Policies and Confidentiality Agreements. Review a patient’s medical data, including records, X-rays, and laboratory reports, perform a History & Physical if they first admitted or consulting on the patient, and perform a physical exam and updated assessment of previous admitted/consulted patients. Order laboratory studies, including blood and body fluid studies and cultures of wounds or body fluids; as well as radiographic studies. May either perform infectious disease consults or manage the whole patient’s medical needs during the hospital stay and may include select medically necessary invasive procedures. Coordinate with other medical specialists and nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy caregivers to provide coordinated care. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• U.S. Medical Degree or foreign equivalent
• Current Montana State medical license
• Completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship in Infectious Disease
